Wolcott Dentistry was founded in 1964 by Dr. Herb Mason. In 1968, Dr. Mason moved the practice to its current location at 6010 Draper Street. For a short time, Dr. Mason was forced to work out of his house on Wright Street after a lightning strike caught the roof on fire.
On August 10, 1993, sale of a portion of the practice to Dr. William H. Pugh was completed. A year later, Dr. Pugh purchased the remainder of the practice and has been in solo practice at the same location since that time.
